Building Character: Dungeons & Dragons and other TTRPG's

Meet like-minded role-playing game fans, in a welcoming & friendly space. 
Whether you’re brand new or levelling up your skills; we’ll explore creating detailed and engaging backstories, character goals, flaws/weaknesses and how characters fit into a shared story. 

This event is ideal for:
~ RPG and D&D newbies
~ Building role-playing confidence 
~ New character creations & enhancing existing characters
~ Helping DM’s to understand their players
~ D&D fans looking for an in-between session fix!

This event focuses on the storytelling side of characters for a varied RPG rules set - rather than the rules, stats and numbers side.
We will have pre-generated 2024 edition D&D character sheets available. 

Everyone is welcome - we focus on inclusive, relaxed play that supports social connection and mental well‑being. No Role-Playing Game experience needed - no public speaking expected.

This event is for ages 18+ 
Our friendly Staff and Volunteers are Enhanced DBS checked and Insured. 
If you require a carer or guardian with you, who is not participating, there are free tickets available to reserve them a seat.

This event is run by More Than Board Games, in shared space with Sew What Have I Found For You.

Location: Sandringham Hub 48 Sandringham Dr, Houghton Regis, Dunstable LU5 5UP
By Car: The Hub is close to both Houghton Regis and Dunstable town centre. It can be reached via Junction 11 (Luton) of the M1 motorway and is within easy reach of the A5 in Dunstable.
Parking: Free, unreserved, on street parking: Sandringham Drive and Tudor Drive
Bus Stops: Milton Way and Windsor Drive serviced by Arriva: A & Z Buses
Train Stations: The nearest stations are Leagrave and Luton 

Access Information:
Stepfree access throughout the entire building. Wheelchair access toilet onsite.
Main entrance door: 74cm - 154cm. Meeting room door: 90cm. Table height: 72cm & 78cm. Chairs are armless, with padded seats and padded backrests.
